You have to look around the back though - its not obvious and they are often obscured by the wires. |

Each coil has two numbers on it in white. Those numbers correspond to the spark plugs. The front bank is 2-4-6-8 and the rear bank is 1-3-5-7. |

The prev. owner changed the coil packs and they weren't OEM, so it didn't have the numbers. Now my Caddy is sounding great and accelerating like it should!
Thank you guys! |

Do they connect directly to the plug or is there a short wire between them ? So if I am replacing the plugs do I need anything else or is it just the plugs ? |

I would think N* should be the same. The coil and spark plug boot were all one piece. |

Can someone confirm this ? I should probably get the boots from the dealer shouldn't I or will a place like autozone have them ? |

Admittedly, I have not checked to see what the "bible" says. |

I had ngk iridiums in my 99 before the motor went and it seemed to have a stronger pick up speed does that mean the spark is stronger ? |

Especailly GM these days with them paying more for health care then steel ! |

So this weekend may be the weekend I finaly replace the plugs. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
