It happened today. I sold my 99 STS with 138K on the clock for $7450. It has a new home to a 21 yr girl that I hope will love and cherish it as much as I did. It gave me a smile how excited she was to buy it. I will really miss the car. I had some big problems like head gaskets and alternators going out. This forum was very helpful in getting me through the hard times. Thanks to everyone that gave me advice, suggestions, ect.

For the last 2 years, I have been waiting to get a 05 STS v8. I finally was able to find the one I wanted in March. I had to drive 900 miles to Houston, but I only paid $1400 over rough blackbook. This STS is far from rough, maybe even extra clean. It was first sold in May of 06 and it had on 15K on the clock. I am not sure if everyone on the Seville forum knows the option packages, but this one is fully loaded. It is the 1SG package with heads up display, radar cruise, and Z rated. It has every available factory option in 2005. (Z rated tires and AWD was an “either or” option).


Some have their complaints, but next to a 7 series, this is the finest car I

have ever been in. I would highly recommend when the time is right for them to upgrade their Seville, and get a STS.

I found one of those back in February in Light mint metallic green for 25k, exact same option package. It was in Michigan so I passed on it, but they are nice cars.

It took me 9 months to find my STS. I only wanted the 1SG package with heads up, a late build with low miles, and silver or white. I was not going to but until this fall, but I could not pass this one up.

I think I got a great price on selling my 99 given I paid $9500 3 years ago with 95K on the clock.

yeah that is very nice. When I upgrade to the sigma based STS I am going to get an AWD model as we have snow here in the winter time.

Looks like a sweet STS.
I drove a 2006 STS straight from Michigan and didn't like it.
Too small and different, plus I never did get the fell of the acceleration.

I am waiting for the other Cadillacs, like in 2020.
I want something high-style. The STS is cool, but not for me just yet
