1984 eldorado sunroof stays on

Hey everybody im not sure if my 1984 Eldorado sunroof is supposed to keep power when the car is off.
Any help is welcome.

1984? No. I am 99.9% sure that the reserve power feature started after 1984.

Why fix it unless its causing a battery drain or other problem? I think it would be cool to have the sunroof work with retained power after the car is off. Thats just me.

I agree. Perhaps former owner even set it up that way. Should not be drawing power except when is use.
