Clearing the orange corners? (early STS)

I've heard it mentioned that a few of you have cleared the front turn signals/corners of your Sevilles. How exactly do you remove that ugly orange reflector?

Do you oven bake the housing and split it? If so, what temps and how long?

Or do you just break it up and remove the pieces? Would that work or is it glued in place?

I like the orange. It's part of the car and it looks like shit without it. I've seen it on car domain. If you want to turn it into a Honda though, do as you please.

I have only seen the tinted ones, on black Seville's.
Did you ever find that mesh company?

You have to be kidding me. The orange is an eyesore that does not match anything else on the car. One way or another, it's getting cleared.

I can't seem to find the mesh company anymore. Someone had linked it on another forum I was at a while ago and I thought it was interesting that the same supplier was used for both the Jaguar and Cadillac mesh grills. Sorry, no luck searching for it though...
