    90s Eldorado Info required

I am looking at this auction on ebay:
    http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2412608219&category=

The seller says it is a 95, but the engine is 4.9l. Everything I know says the 95 should have the Northstar 4.6.

Is this car a 95? Or is it a 93?

I have a 93 Deville. Is it worth changing to this Eldo?

The link won't come up on my damn computer!Hmm...Anyway, I would think the 95 would have the Nortstar in it...but then again..I dunno, sorry I am no help here am I? LOL!
I love my 92 Eldo better than the Devilles I have had. But I like 2 door sportiers cars myself...I think it's just preference!

Get the VIN to check what the car is. It does not appear to be a 95 ETC, so I would not recommend it. The engine is wrong, the wheels are wrong, no ETC markers.

I have e-mailed the guy for the Vin. Once I receive it, where do I go to decode it?

definitely a 92...dead giveaways: engine, grill, bumpers, steering wheel

seems to have exhaust that would come on a northstar but still, do not be fooled

    Go to: carfax.com

It will cost you about twenty bucks to do all the vehicle history searches you want of VIN #s for a period of thirty days.....well worth the money IMO

How much is a 92 worth?
How much is a 95 worth?

It doesn't make sense to trade my 93 Deville for a 92 Eldo, but I would trade up to a 95.

You can check Blue Book, Black Book and then check Auto Trader to see what they're going for near you. Between all those sources, you should be able to get a fairly good idea of what the car's worth in your area.

Even if you think a 92 is worth the cost, I wouldn't buy this particular one from this particular guy. Either he genuinely doesn't know what year he has (unlikely), or he's dishonest and trying to pull a fast one on an unsuspecting customer.

He didn't even spell "Eldorado" right...

92 with 180k miles wouldnt be worth too much. Maybe 3000??

I think this guy is bogus, and wouldnt buy from him.

I wouldn't give more than around $4,500 for it! And it would have to be in perfect condition for me to give that much!

that guy knows very well he is selling a 1992. He most likely hopes that since these cars have looked simmilar for so long that someone who is ignorant and doesnt know any better does not know.

How can you own a car, esspecially a Cadillac and not know what year it is? look on the registration, the owners manual, your insurance card, or even the freaking door jam!

this guy is defrauding people on ebay and should be reported. If anyone emails him and he plays ignorant then he is lying.
