I drive a 1996 Seville STS w/o a sunroof!
I don't know whether or not I can get the OEM sunroof, but whatever I get, it has to be high quality, not cheap rice. If you know of where to get one or have any advice, post.
Thanks |

Thanks | I'm also interested in a sunroof for my 97 STS but it seems know one has answered the question. What would have to be done, I want it to look OEM as much as possible. |

There is always the aftermarket road to take. Though I hate aftermarket. I guess the only real difference is the double weatherstipping on top and the 1 button control inside (just doesnt look oem, IMO). Couldnt say what it would cost for installation.

They integrated it VERY nicely. The control switches (mounted up near the Homelink) are lit with interior lights, and the sunroof automatically closes when the car is shut off. No windnoise, no leaks, it's a very professional job. The Cadillac dealer from whom I bought the car had it done. They say the same shop's been doing all their sunroofs for over 30 years. I'll try to figure out who actually makes the sunroof in my car. |

My sunroof--nay, moonroof--is made by Webasto Hollandia International. I've never heard of them, but they've apparently been in the business forever. Their website: http://www.webasto.us/press/en/am_au...roofs_485.html
I have the Hollandia 700 series.
Features:
- Self deploying wind deflector
- Illuminated Soft-Touch control panel (photo on the PDF brochure)
- 2 user-programmable buttons
- Automatic ignition-off auto close
- Integrated safety system prevents auto closing on foreign objects
- Optional rain sensor available
And I have no idea on pricing. I can take as many pictures of it as anyone would like.
Edit:
For those interested, my moonroof was installed by Tops and Trends, in Kernersville, NC: http://www.topsandtrends.com/

Moon roof closed; sits flush:
Closed, from the inside. The panel color matches perfectly:
Here is the control pad. The front/rear buttons move the glass in that direction. The small C button will move it to closed from any position. The 1 and 2 buttons are for user-programmable positions (halfway, etc):
Here's half open:
Here's half open from the inside:
Full open, from above:
Here, you can see the small wind deflector popped up:

Just vented open:

If you want any other shots, let me know. |

Just one problem:
* I see a Seville that's tan without the moonroof.
I'd get that fixed
Imma have to call the dealer up now!
Thanks for the pics.
