My first car ever. A pearly white '94 ETC. SO clean. Interior is mint, everything works/runs perfectly. Just enough room and Power. Can't wait for modding!!

Re: My First Car, '94 ETC

Ahh very nice! Welcome to the board.. I got a 94 Montana Blue Eldo which is my first car as well. Put a nice exhaust on that thing and enjoy the gangster growl the Northstar has! Just make sure to put some money aside for repairs (just in case) since it is a 13yr old car & change the coolant if you haven't already. Flooring isn't a bad idea either..

Forgot to ask.. how many miles on it? Looks minty.

Re: My First Car, '94 ETC

welcome, nice looking ride, just search the threads for mods, hp gainers, etc, as the topic has been covered many times. If you expect to bolt on a bunch of performance stuff and see big gains, I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed. Although the early N*s w/OBDI computers can be chipped, but the gains are not over the top...

That is one clean car. The driver's seat even looks great. Is that the White Diamond color - I'm not sure if they had that color in '94. '95 may have been the first year for White Diamond. I just traded in my '95 Pearl Red Eldorado - (that was the first year for Pearl Red). I bought it new and had it for 12 years. I just traded it for an '07 CTS, but I loved the Eldorado. To me, that is the nicest looking Caddy around. My Eldo was a great car. I had no problems with it, but I maintained it to perfection. I was waiting for Cadillac to come out with the next generation Eldorado, but it doesn't look like they're doing it anytime soon, so that's why I got the CTS. Incidentally, I got the CTS in White Diamond. It's a beautiful color.

Anyway, lots of luck with your new car. The most important suggestion that I can make is change the coolant immediately. It's super important when it comes to the Northstar engine. Neglected coolant can cause major (and costly) problems with the Northstar. The '94 model used the green coolant, so I would change it every 2 years. Don't go any longer than that.

Lots of luck with your new baby.

Re: My First Car, '94 ETC

Yes, its the White Diamond. I love it. The sun roof is pimp as ****, and it cruises like a champ. since im finding out ther isnt much you can do with the N*, i'll just slap on tints, 20's, and keep it extra clean. i also love the $2.77/gal gas prices in FL.

What a prize. Phenomenal appearance, inside and out; I wouldn't modify anything appearance-wise. A real gem!

Re: My First Car, '94 ETC

nice Eldo. That thing looks like mint condition. 66,000 miles is really low for that year.
Have fun and take car of that nice car, its soon to be a classic!
