More great shots of that Brougham!!!!!!!! I like the one from above--too bad about the telephone pole being there in the pic, though... You are so lucky with the moonroof. I would love to have a moonroof on mine.
JRue, thanks, but don't ever wish a moonroof on yourself!! I like the idea, and saying I have it, and it's really nice on a warm sunny day. But the thing is a pain really, last summer it started leaking without me knowing it for about a week, it got water under the carpet and I had to replace the pad, then it started it again, fixed it again. And it ever so slightly rattles, I think I need to replace the gasket then I'll be good. Now that I've had one I don't really think it's worth the trouble.
I didn't want a Brougham with a moonroof for that very reason. My 85 Parisienne had the same moonroof and it leaked pretty bad when i bought it. I was able to fix it about 90% with black silicone but the plastic around the glass eventually cracked, the motor burned out and had to be replaced, and eventually I just stopped using it. I don't know if I would mind so much having one today, but when I bought my Brougham the thought of leaking water was in my mind.
My problem was that the drain hoses that run from it got clogged, so the water that got through the seal was backing up and running in under the back seat. Relatively easy fixing the leak, getting the damp out wasn't.
