A Tech 2 loaded file can 100% be pulled with any tuning suite. I have done so personally.

I haven't done a 8 segment file. You have to have all 8 segment broken apart to use the tech 2 when loading a custom tune. All single segment files are easy

Do you know how to load a custome tune with the Tech II?

I dont have any experience with single segment files, only 8 segment files, like are in the blackbox PCM's(96-00) Vortec 4.3/305/350/454 trucks.

I have only pulled 8 segment calibrations that has been loaded using TECH2.

    Re: Limitter adjustment/removal

When the calibration is downloaded from GM it is stored on your PC in a location. Each segment is stored as a special zip file with the segment # added to the calibration number. The special zipped file is transferred through or to Tech II or MDI and it must be zipped.

If you use TC and tune a single segment file then zip it, them make sure that the file number is the same and then replace the existing file with the tuned file TIS will load it through the Tech II.

If you monitor the "folder" that the zip files are stored in while doing a TIS flash and you see the cal pop up again you did something wrong. If nothing changes in the folder you did it the correct way.

BTW I left out some information. little things.
