changing fan scheduling?

I bumped the timing up a few degrees on my '92 Eldo (4.9) for a little more torque and installed a 180 thermostat to help ward off preignition from the timing advance. As a result the stock fan scheduling is all wrong and the temps get higher than I'd like while idling. Is there any way to adjust the fan scheduling through the PCM or am I stuck with wiring in an aftermarket fan controller?

Give Fastchips or Wester's a call. I know Lyndon can do some work on the 90-95 ECM's, but not sure of the details of it.
