all the 93 to 99 cams wear!

Most of the Exhaust Cams are BAD!

This is a fact! GM redesigned the engine to correct this in 00!

This is not the thread to argue that point!!!!!!!!!!!

MED Stopped by and I showed him another worn cam and the inside of the valve cover! The Metal from the cam spray coats the inside of the valve cover! Again just facts!

Not every engine will produce the same HP at 2000 rpm .........

AJ, are you high???? Who's arguing. I just posted the dyno numbers I know
of from BlackCaddy87 when he went to fastchip. You want more numbers
    PM him.
What does that have to do with worn cams. Mine are fine by the way.

If you have a problem with my post, PM me and we can discuss it.

    Yo AJ,

I want to see this thread go somewhere. Should I get a PCM from the j-yard?

93-95 all you need is an e-prom or mem-cal as it's called. The PCM's
    are generic GM parts.

Stay tuned till tomorrow. Just got back from work and I'm off all day Saturday and should be back around 4pm at the latest from the yard. I do agree with you and clarkz71 about putting the cam/lifter wear issue to another thread (good pics of it in the Fiero forum). Must go run errands now!

I have only seen a few without bad cam wear. I have replaced several cam and lifter sets, but I have left just as many alone that were bad. Customer has no money. That is the phrase of the year. My Money not be right.
    Sorry I digressed.

BTW Clarkz71 we need to talk off the forum. I blasted you by accident. It was intended for someone else

This is where I'm loosing the big picture. I understand that every motor make diffrent power and part where out. So what!

Question Are being ask and it seem's where Doing the side step dance.

To me its simple. AJ's got a car It should be his test bed. There for some dyno work would be a key in showing people what you can do. Or some one else is going to have to be the test bed For diffrent year car's. Which so far has not work out! So I have to conclude, We have a lot of poor people here with Cadillac's and know way to do the testing to move this a long.

Which I feel for AJ Because its keep him from making some cash.

So some how it must move past this point or its going know where.

    I don't have the Answer!

This is not a test dummy thing.

First GM produced this Magic program.

Second thing is that the Fiero guy's have been doing a lot with the 93 to 95 programs.

Third is I hate fiero's. Ok just don't like them. I drive caddy's all day long. The Fiero is a rattle toy.

    AJ and all:

I just got back from the yard and picked up two 4.6L STS PCMs (BHMN and BMYH). I wrote down the VINs of both cars (I can PM them to you). Build dates of 11/93 and 06/95 on the door stickers. I picked up some other goodies, so my money be right. I stripped wood, radio, 4 sensors, but these PCMs took the longest to remove as I was on my back the whole time.

The yard I go to is between Milwaukee and Chicago. I can PM you the place. I'm only talking about 96 and earlier Caddies at this place. They're cheap, it's pick your own or have them do it and the 300 to 400 cars are replaced constantly....I have seen many Cadillac Devilles, Concours, and Sevilles come and go through there since summer. I don't think you'd have any trouble finding what you need. Saturdays to 3p. There just aren't many yards open on Sundays - none are that I know of anymore <-- which is hard on weekend warriors. Bottom line: there's tons of good stuff out there for these years at this time. Good luck with your heater box issue - if it's the plastic outer cover you're talking - if it's under the hood on firewall with blower motor then I've never seen one that's not cracked.
Craig: Do you have an OBD-1 N* also?
