It is the right combo of the two. On the 00 to 03 I had plans last week end to ramp up the Fuel pressure and track test, But Highline Cady had some issues
I hope to try my ideas out this week. Tech II, Fuel line cut off tools, Fuel pressure gauge and some open road.
I will ramp up the pressure until we see a loss and the recalculate it into the program.

Re: Northstar Tuning

you can adjust AFR, like target PE AFR? and target cruise AFR? something like an AFC would be a much better money spent then a adjustable fuel pressure regulator, which is basically worthless. i havn't seen a northstar maf since i sold my aurora a few years back to know if this afc will be compatable.

I am not using adjustable aftermarket FPR
Like I said on the 00+ I plan to run a shut off tool on the return line to ramp up the pressure. after I find a new target I will go back and change the program. The first one I sell will be sooooooooooo rich I hope to foul plugs
I have a very special person in mind. He wants big numbers I am going to give him big numbers.

I have several different projects going.

Current projects or finished programs are as follows

93 to 95 I am just in the start up phase

96 to 99 Deville's, Eldo's, and 96, 97 Seville's I have done two, but I need more time.

98 & 99 Seville's I have done a lot of work on this program.

96 to 99 Northstar with LS1 Just in start up

00 to 03 all Northstar's I have this well covered

The LS1 project is getting all my time. I am close and want it I think this may work on 93 to 95 car also and 00 to 05. I need to get it in a PCM and get it to Bill @ HP.

I have locked up a stack of PCM's trying stuff. It would be sooooooooo nice for me to use an aftermarket tuning program for a change

Re: Northstar Tuning

what cars are you seeing the most gains on? LD8's or L37's? is this making the OBDII's as "fast" as the OBD I's?

i know the 93-95's had more go, but the 96's interior's look better

just wondering with the addition of tunes, whats becomes the most powerful combo.

I think the 99 sts may have been the best OEM

Re: Northstar Tuning

what about eldo's? 95 or 96?

you should really make a new post with all the important news, or maybe you can update the first post with "cliff notes"...im sure there's alot of info, but to many pages.

also wondering what stock timming advance (i know its dependent on alot of things from temerature to cylinder pressure) and how much your adding.

sounds like your dropping the afr a little too.

I guess that would mean that it has been done also

I wish AJ was around years ago then i wouldnt of burned over 900 for the Jet Prototype Chip.
Most of us are just excited thats all and thats why theres the great push, but what everyone needs to realize if your so excited and really want this product then when the going gets tough and you have to issue some out of pocket expenses then you gotta do it if you want in. I was #1 with this project then my STS decided to not be on board so i had to step back and Code has become the forward runner for testing and tuning everything.
Friday i have set up to get my car dynoed to tell what gains if any my exhaust and intake have provided on my STOCK pcm. From there AJ has agreed to send me out 2 pcms, one a really hot tune, the other a more mild one (i believe) to then have dynoed to see what helps performance when pushed up, and what hurts it...

Again what most of us come here for is to say HEY I WANT A PCM when in reality what we should all be saying is THANK YOU AJ FOR FINALLY HELPING US WITH WHAT WE'VE BEEN DESIRING FOR SO LONG!!!

Kudos to AJ
How much are you willing to commit to?
I am ready to scrap the STSI program for you and step you into a LS1 PCM that you can Tune also
Well?

Cool update. I just found out yesterday I have 3 more weeks b4 going back to the doc on my broke shoulderblade. Sorry AJ I really think you are doing a great job and I wanted to get you numbers quickly after I got the PCM. Depressing having to wait aroundand heal because someone does not want to obey the stop sign. Mike

Bill says that he does not support it currently!
I told Bill that he does. Bill is the expert in this case.
I am sure that bill and I will have it worked out just as soon as he get the PCM. After all it is an LS1 program
