Or even a set of chromed Impala SS wheels. |

Originally Posted by CTS_FAN Those silver Corvette wheels look kinda nasty! IMHO. Car looks HOT though!! | I've been thinking about new wheels ever since I got the car in 2003. Impala SS wheels look great but have been done MANY times by other owners. I really take pride in doing something different and unorthodox. Why else would I pick a 4600 lb car to make fast?
I almost went with a set of 20s for the car, but it was "too much" for my car, I thought, and went against the "fast" factor by having all of that rotational weight.
These Vette wheels are ultra-lightweight for 17s. I should have weighed them on a scale, but they feel just as heavy as the stock 15s with 235/70-15 tires.
I wasn't completely sold on the wheels myself when I first slapped them on but now that it has been two weeks they have really grown on me! The stance they give the car is unbelievable IMO. Handling is soooooo much better with my other suspension mods. Plus, the wheels are something other people don't have. I'll keep em' for awhile. |

I've driven the Caddy to 20 missions now, which they refer to cars as "Cages" We have the ability to carry things they cannot. Although a column of bikes with 3x5 american flags on the back looks very impressive. | Good work. You're getting points for that. |
