MYGMLink is moving

I got an email today, it looks like to save money GM is turning over control of MyGMLink to Yahoo.
If you log in to www.mygmlink.com you can log in, then create or login to your yahoo account and they will transfer your current info to the new account if you do it by the end of this month.

If you ever use it, I think now is a good time to make the swap.
I have access for my Trailblazer and although I don't update it much I do use it from time to time to keep track of service items on the car.

As many of you know you can use it to identify open recalls, track warranty repairs and service visits, look at maintenance information, online owner's manuals, and even set up reminders for yourself.
It is a handy website.

I did the switch 3 weeks ago, and the new Yahoo! site is an unholy PITA to operate and navigate. Updating my private service history is far too complicated.

The old GM site was far better, and the new one is nothing more that a concentrated pitch to buy a new GM something.

I agree Sub. Any value the site had for me disappeared along with all my service info that they lost and failed to transfer. It's a complete dud. You can still download a PDF owner's manual but the NAV manuals evaporated along with any other usefulness they might have had.
