hey this is a rough draft of a cadillac promo i put together of random commercails and videos i found around the internet... my boy made this cadillac beat for my cadillac sts when its at car shows... i was suppose to make it a video of just my car but for now its only official cadillac commercials....
let me know what you think about the video, and the beat my boy made for it.... he is currently trying to sell it to GM, but ludacris manager said they are also interested in purchasing it aswell.
yea i figured only the younger generation would appreciate the sound track... especailly since cadillac has been more of an more mature/older crowd of consumers... but most car companies now are targeting the younger more "now" generation...
if people do comment on it, can u also add your age to it if you do not mind
I was 21, about 30 years ago. I think I'm still under the average age of all Cadillac buyers. Probably a bit older than the average age of CTS buyers.
While companies like to market to 20-somethings, the disposable money is in the pockets of the baby boomers. We like to feel young, but if it looks like you are targeting people more than about 10-15 years younger than us or a completely different social / economic group, we tune out.
I enjoyed the visuals; but;
Rock songs always work.
Nonetheless;
That song was on topic, and
is evidently geared toward
a younger demographic; who
generally cannot make the
payments on the Rides therein.
I like the actual music, but not the lyrics. If you have just the music like it is a 40 seconds, very very cool. However, I think the lyrics appeal to a small percentage of people. The visuals are great and so is the music, just drop the lyrics.

yea i do have 6 TVs... the music was originally made for my Show Car when it was being judge and presented, and the crowd that usually at the car show is between the ages of 17 to 30, so my friend made a urban beat for it.
my friend isn't that great at making rock music, he only made 5 rock beats and was only successful at 2 of them... He decided to go with a more houston, tx chopped and screwed sound for this beat.

No worries, I do the same thing to commercials that come on the TV.
Cadillac is targeting a "younger" crowd, but it's not really the 20 somethings as most are out of the typical demographic for the car purchased new. Look at the age of the actors they are placing in their current run of commercials and that will demonstrate their current focus.
i loved the video. great editing by whoever did that. reminded me of how much i love the CTS.
the beat was alright, but those lyrics are definitely the downfall of the 'commercial.'
Also, it's about twice as long as it needs to be. Good luck selling it.
