Don't listen to CVP33, he owns a CHRYSLER!

But, in this instance, he's right.

this is exactly what caddy needs... outsource the tunning, and then they will have some hot products, with highclass flare and panache...

Hopefully Now,cadillac Will Finally Build The V12,and Put It Into Production For The Escalade. Because It Looks Like The Lincoln Will Finally Get A Much Needed Power Boost Comming From The New Hurricane V8 That's Been Given The Greenlight.and I Say,"let The Horsepower Wars Begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

hmm Cadillac cost over 50 thousand....a fully loaded 300HP Mustang GT cost under 30 (I think actually around 26)...The mustang can and does sell to a larger part of the market simply because its a sports car, pony car, muscle car, whatever you want to call it and offers affordable Horsepower. I hope when the Camaro returns it will be affordable to the average joe.

Was reading about Lund the other day, they would be a nice choice for cadillac to choose to get performance ideas from.

I'm guessing Cadillac's V lineup is doing very well for them to consider a move like this?

It's ashame they want to get away from the muscle car image.

    I WANT A MUSCLE CAR!

I bought a CTS-V because they delivered a muscle car with some class.

Once my kids are out of the house when I don't need a 6 pass car, I will look seriously at a CTS-V, so having a Super V would be a thought too!!

I agree with LowLow, call the bluff. I called the bluff on Dodge and the Hemi Charger, and they did it. So, will GM follow Dodge's lead on V8 RWD cars that rock? The SRT8 is one of the baddest cars in a long time. The one I saw tested was running solid 11.5's down the 1/4 mile.

They are certainly fast but I haven't seen the stock ones go that fast. I've seen timeslips and videos for 12.65 to 13.30 all claiming to be stock, but who knows. I'll give you my timeslips in about two weeks. Awaiting some high flow CAT's at the moment.

Good enough for a solid daily driver that will wax 99% of any car you come across, right?

Then again, maybe I will just toss in an 8100 V8 in the Cad with a 4L85E and 9.5" rear.

Price tag of $52K was not too bad at all. Haven't found anyone with and STS-V. Interior looks like standard CTS (dissappointing).
Penske Cadillac here in Southern California has had all 3 of the "V" series vehicles in their showrooms over the course of the last 3 - 4 months! VERY nice vehicles.
