V16 divided by 2 equals Corvette?

I've read in two magazines that the Cadillac V16 engine is actually two next gen Chevy small blocks joined together. Which means the Vette could be good for over 500hp. Or better yet, the CTS-V!

Good possibility. GM is building V12s with Turbo as well. There's a lot going on behind the scenes at GM...

I was hearing from someone that they would have the 12 cyl. which I beleive is a 350 x 1.5 in possibly an escalade and a newer seville 2005 being the earliest

yup the v12 is 2 next gen small blocks , they will use a valve timing system thats very close to what honda uses in vtec engines , which i thought was impossible with a pushrod V8 but i guess not , wonder how they deal with moving the cam as exaust and intake timing would move right along with each other , i think the article is in either car and driver or road and track

anyway , base c6 vettes are supposed ot develop as much hp and the curent z06 with the zo6 flavor making some viper killing numbers with big displacemnt
