    Detroit: what will Cadillac reveal?

Will they reveal anything new? Or will they wait until New York like they did last year?

The ATS-V should be up next, but BMW is doing the official M3/M4 reveal at Detroit -- does Cadillac compete for attention head-on or do they wait for their own spotlight?

Would they really reveal the CTS-V before the ATS-V? I never thought so before, but maybe that makes more sense now -- the Germans are all on their next-gen product already.

They wouldn't have another show car already, would they?

Is the next-gen SRX ready yet?

Re: Detroit: what will Cadillac reveal?

I heard the ATS Coupe will debut. Haven't heard anything regarding the ATS-V.

They really need to redesign the SRX. That thing is ugly and driving dynamics are just not there.

I can't see a next gen CTS-V coming out this fall. I would say we would see the next gen V in the fall of 2015 at the earliest. I would be surprised to see it any earlier.

GM is going to go head to head with BMW on everything they can. GM has come this far. I don't see why they wouldn't continue going forward.

Re: Detroit: what will Cadillac reveal?

A lot of people like the SRX. I think it stumbled in the first year with a couple of weak powerplants -- classic Old GM -- but once they dropped in the DI 3.6 it seemed to be a good package. But it is the last example of second-gen Art & Science, and even if it's attractive it's now dated, by years and by attrition.

Head-to-head -- I don't mean revealing products in the same category, I mean revealing products in the same category at the very same show as BMW's own reveal. I don't think they've done that before. Of course, Detroit is Cadillac's home turf... and it sure would be a poke in BMW's eye... I am hopeful but not expectant.

As for the ATS Coupe... it's got big shoes to fill. The CTS Coupe wasn't to everyone's taste, but oh boy howdy did it get attention for being distinctive. I have modest (read: bland) expectations for the ATS Coupe.

The first spy photos of the much anticipated Cadillac ATS coupe.

I hope that coupe looks as good as ELR.

I think it will be very boring like the 4 door ATS. From the spy photos it doesn't look like nothing special. They got to step up there game because of the new Lexus RC, have any of you seen the new RC yet? Absolutely stunning!

Maybe despise is too strong a word but definitely don't like. Every time I see one it reminds me of this

I think the new Lexus' look amazing myself. They are not cookie cutter anymore, they have there own design now. I'm in love with the IS, if they made the GS look like the IS I would of bought it in a heartbeat (IS is too small for me)

Why would they wait that long? The CTS-V has normally been 1 fall behind the re-design. Now you are saying 2 years. I think we see the next CTS-V on Monday for a fall release.

I would agree. I just wonder where the ATS-V is hiding. It's wayyyyy overdue...

Lexus has lost their way.....in fact they're painfully behind. That's actually a good thing because at some point they'll wake up and correct it. I can name 3 and in some cases 4 cars/suv's that I'd rather drive instead of their offerings.
