    And here's how the principle might be honored in the real word: an LSwhatever V8 with features or displacement that's unique to Cadillac. That's what Ford is expected to do with Lincoln -- there will be an EcoBoost variant that's unique to the brand, but it'll be a close relative of the Taurus etc engines.

    The days of a whole separate engine design are gone, but that doesn't mean they can't or won't do something special for Cadillac.

    They've got the LSA for the CTS-V right now, so they're on the right path.

    Yep, though that's related to the ZR1 motor.
