Autoweek did a little piece back a month or so ago that had the new bigger Escalade (ESV?) along with a regular sized Escalade that had the 7.5 L V12. In that form I believe they said Cadillac claimed 600 hp in it, but it only felt like 500 hp or so, and then only 400 would actually see production.
400 is OK! I could live with it. Remember, If you've read any of the info thats come out on the V-12 it is supposed to take up no more room than the current V-8!
Yeah, but it's a DOHC engine so I'm not thinking it's the best idea for a truck. Although I DID hear it would have variable valve timing. Now let me see, it's a new GM engine, has variable displacement AND variable valve timing. To me that adds up to a lot of dealer visits
