Latest Rumors on the Upcoming BIG Sedan

So I'm hearing that Cadillac will have a replacement for the DTS which will be at least as large as the DTS and priced inbetween the Mercedes E-Class and S-Class.. That doesn't sound too bad to me.. If this happens, I hope the vehicle has the luxury features and appointments that a Cadillac flagship should have.. Anyone hear anything else?

I heard that Cadillac bought out Checker Company. They will try intense marketing to attract more old foggies.

Question: Where does Cadillac get the money or is able to purchase any Company without GM Board approval? Secondly I was led to believe that the Old Checker Car Company was broken up more than a decade ago, and the only remaining part of it CC Holdings built auto/body parts as a subcontractor for other companies, GM being one of them?

Please enlighten us.
