This is one of the things I love to do most when I'm bored....cruise around aimlessly while I listen to some great tunes! I shot some videos too, so you could see what it's like around here. The video I shot while Limelight was playing is right in my hometown, two main streets that I love to cruise around on, and the one where I'm narrating is shot on a long county road where I've done my top speed runs, one of my favorite roads to cruise on. You might even be able to hear my main bearing thump in the 1st video, not positive though.
First one, long country road: http://s83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...reetsinIGH.flv
Second one, "Limelight in Eagan" http://s83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...nLimelight.flv
Also, check out my latest thread in the kills/race section to see some WOT runs in my car.
Now off I go to watch one of Kubrick's best...Full Metal Jacket!

We'd cut down from Winnipeg Manitoba and go through Fargo, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, and finally Toronto if we decide to do it. Much more interesting than driving through the western side of Ontario I think. |

The next time you sing that song Chad I'd expext a little more effort in the singing and at least a drum solo on the dash. |

There's what's looking to be a huge meet for the members here. So far, I think I'm driving the furthest. Then, head east to resume your trip in Chicago.

I love my kids and all, but before they were born I would drop the top on the Mustang and cruise around aimlessly late at night when no one was on the road. Van Halen was the music of choice at the time, either that or the burble of the 5.0 through the Flowmasters.
Now I'll sneak out once in a while when I can't sleep. I manually open the garage door (as opposed to using the loud opener) and let the GN roll silently to the bottom of the driveway before I fire it up. The cruises are shorter but just as therapeutic. It doesn't hurt to scare up a race at the local rice hangout either...but they know who I am now and stay away.

I just wish I made some videos like this when I had my Roadmaster. |

Then again...it was way too loud to be able to actually listen to music in it either....it was a GOOD loud though. |

I think it had an AM radio in it but I never bothered to even try to use it. I do remember that it lit up at night but that's about all it did. It was more fun to listen to the 400 cubic inches sucking air through the Holley anyway. Horrifically inefficient fuel management but a sweet sound nonetheless.
