Kinda funny

Most telemarketers just hang up if I go too far off course with them. So one of my favorites is when they start their pitch to ask them to hold on a second while I get a pen and paper to write on. Then I set the phone down and go about my business. After a few minutes of wasting their time they figure out I'm not coming back.

Here in Ohio you can sign up for a "Do not call list". I haven't gotten a call in a long time. The exception would be a business you're already doing business with. When they call I ask them to put me on their "Do not call list" Works for me.

Tom Mabe has a whole cd of telemarketer pranks, One that I like aswell is called "Crime and the Carpet Cleaner" where he leads the telemarketer to believe he just killed someone, the telemarketer actually calls back

It's also quite illegal nationally (USA) to include mobile (cellular OR pager) numbers in mass-calling lists. The fine is rather large too.

I do the ole seinfeld bit.
I ask them for there home phone number and I'll call them back. Of course they say they won't give out their phone number so I ask them why?
"do you not like being interrupted during dinner by annoying sales calls?"
"Then now you know how I feel!"
