Since I live in a condominium complex, there are rules against commercial vehicles - they have to park in an alternate area and I don't feel safe leaving my Caddy there.. So.. I need to get a good-looking sticker that is removable.. I'm looking to get:
CADILLACOWNERS.COM
The Standard of the World Wide Web
It would need to stick on the back window (outside glass) and take up the whole window widthwise and about 2/5th the window heightwise. Is this possible? Any ideas where I can get it done?
Thanks in advance...

I wonder if there are any computer graphical solutions.. Maybe something that's LED or Neon that I can use on the back window - and flick a switch to turn it on or off.... |

I did consider that but I think those things are becoming like banner ads - people just look right past them. I'd like to get something up high, closer to the sky - like a billboard. Near the top of my back window is a place where, whether you want to see it or not, you're going to have to look at it unless you force yourself to look away.. |

I'm sure there are several quick sign places locally who can make up those vinyl letters for you. If you provide them some artwork or that picture you doctored to give them some ideas maybe they'll get creative and do something really nice. |

I had the same problem with the sub-division I live in. they didn't want commercial vehicles either. Which is consider anything like van or pick up with ladder racks on it or a delivery truck. It wasn't so much vinyl letters being the problem but more of the other issues. Make it like a car club sticker for the back window. You should be OK.

When I sold my Fleetwood, they actually asked me about the "Madison Ross" sticker I had on it. Not sure if you remember that.. But, I just asked an ex-board member and he told me that any type of sticker would be considered advertising - which would be commercial..
I have to look around to see if there are any "v-tec" stickers around. |

Check your state laws about whether any illuminated sign is allowable. Maybe something like a lit-up license plate frame could be possible. I do like the idea of an electronic mesage board in the back window.
As for your condo association, they better get out there and ticket every car with a dealer advertising sticker or license plate frame on the back end. They really should be consistent, you know. |

And it has to be from a NY Yankee hater, huh? Why not just place some of that cling-on window tint over the rear when I park in the lot? Geez. Why didn't I think of that? I'll just get a couple of layers of that tint..
Well? Problem solved.. And here I am with my Wife thinking about Neon signs, LED signs and light-brite type concoctions... Quote:
