That blacked out Z06 is beautiful. Nicely done video, but the "racing" honestly wasn't that exciting. From a roll in traffic? Meh.

Im sorry but I call BS on this, Ether(spelling?) the Ford GT driver could not drive worth shit or that Z06 was spraying, I know there close in performance but Z06 with intake and tune would not pull from a Ford GT like that. It dont make sense.

I don't know why some of you find it hard to believe?! When the Ford engine is rated by the new SAE method used to rate the Vette, the Vette engine puts out 8 more horsepower, regardless of Ford's claims arrived at by the old SAE standard.

Streetfirer seems to be full of "rolling races" like this. When Rolex used to drag race [in HS] there was none of this "from a roll" garbage.

All the same it's still a great vid. Two cars Rolex would love to see parked in his garage.

Give the Ford a tune and an aftermarket intake tube, the Vette's still going to win.
The GT has 6.6 lbs per h.p. using the old SAE horsepower standard (more like 7.0 using the new standard the Vette is rated by), while the Vette is 6.2 lbs per h.p. All the magazine tests have the Chevy quicker than the Ford. At half the price, that's a hell of a deal!

Stock yes, but this is a supposed supercar and it does have blower whereas the Vette does not plus it costs a lot more. The Vette is also nicer on the inside. I have to admit that Vette pulled too hard on the GT40. My guess is nitrous.

No doubt the Z06 is a hell of a deal but there are reasons as to why the GT costs as much as it does. Hand built, limited production, prestige, etc.
