Look, you know that the only tests to compare are the ones run on the same day in the same weather on the same track by the same drivers. Who knows what numbers the Z06 would have posted had they tested it with the others, especially since those are by far the best numbers I've ever seen for the GT. The head to head runs between the two all show the Z06 quicker to 60 and in the 1/4 mile. But it'so.k., you can take your ball and go home if you want.

every publication did the z06 v gt v srt10 when the z06 got released.
EVERY publication showed gt to be slightly ahead of z06 by a hair to 0-60 and very similar times to 1/4 but it does start to pull a little to higher speed ranges.

Btw. Powergains on the z06 from simple bolt on is amazing. I think LG did a simple header and exhaust swap and they were getting almost 500rwhp without tuning.

I can see that being true. I believe they are dyno'ing at around 480 or something like that in stock trim

lg's car was one of the first z06 and it dyno'ed in the 440s or 450s in stock form

That was the number. I thought it was 480's but yeah it was like in the 440 range. I've only heard of a handful of stock dyno's. But i heard they were having issues with a blower kit for the Z06. You know if thats true or not?

i've been out of the loop for quite some time now since i didn't even know that tuning software was available until yesterday LOL

Anyone else get the new Car and Driver magazine?. Shelby GT500 vs Corvette (non Z06). GT500=500hp; Vette=400hp. Vette beat it 0-60, 1/4 mile and was over 3 seconds faster up to 150mph. Very surprising numbers even though the Stang is over 600lbs heavier.

We are discussin this on another forum i am on and everyone came to the conlslusion that they either used the last Cobra's numbers or the guy couldn't drive.
