It was one of those kits that came with all the parts, I just had to assemble it. Couldnt run the dang thing more than twice without shearing a half shaft or shredding the gear box. I had no idea what I was doing really, but even with the help of my local hobby shop guy we couldnt solve the problem. Now it sits on a shelf collecting dust. I ended up going with a battery powered truck after that, not near the speed but at least I can pull it out whenever and it doesnt break every time I use it.
BTW - nice tv. I bought an xbox 360 right after they came out. Played it for one night and then put it up on e-bay. I paid $450 for the premium package and one game. It sold for just over a grand. |

I haven't used my SLR in ages. I'm thinking of selling all of my equipment on EBay. It's a Canon FTb with lenses. It is older than most of the board members here! I bought it all while I was stationed in the far east.
I have one of the original Polaroids too. |

When buying my TV I considered a projector but the ones on display just seemed "dulled" down. The salesman said it was because of the lighting...well hell, if the lighting is that picky, I don't want one!
Ended up with a 61" HDTV instead...
My home theatre...the only thing that sucks as much money out of me as my car does |

My home theatre...the only thing that sucks as much money out of me as my car does | it's pretty picky about lighting. those pics were taken with the light on. just gotta keep your room dark (easier said than done). but if you can keep a room dark a projector is the only way to go. that said i generally watch the projector in the evening. my daytime tv is a 57" toshiba hdtv.
ahhhh.....so many toys |
