The Shelby is nice, but just a Ford Mustang on some serious steroids (just like in the 60's). If I wanted a car to attract attention to myself, I'd buy the Camaro, but I think the Challenger is more my style. If they do come out with the Challenger in '08 or '09, I'll probably get one. |

I really like the Challenger the best as well, simply because it looks a lot like the old version, while still looking good as a new "today" car. Not sure if that makes sense, but in a whole it means I think the Challenger is the best of the three. |

Challenger 2nd (very close though)
Shelby 3rd
The Mustang looks dated. Kinda funny since they're all reproductions in a sense. Owning one of each would be the ultimate. |

I think the front end looks downight mean, predatory in a way and the car has a threatening profile. My dad has an 05 Mustang GT and intends to get a Cobra, so one way or another, I'll have one of those already. I don't like the Challenger.... I really don't. I've never been too fond of Mopar's muscle cars and this particular one doesn't appeal to me. I don't like anything about it.....
I am very much buying a Camaro when I get outta college though. I gotta have one of those. |

I'm a forced-induction-aholic and I'm not afraid to admit it. Boost is addicting no doubt about it. The 2003+ blown Cobras are nothing short of spectacular both stock and in how they respond to mods. I expect even more from the new Shelby.

The Mustang is also nothing to snicker at. It's a very tough choice, but.....there is just SoMeThiNg about the two words of "CHALLENGER" and "SIX POINT ONE LITRE HEMI" that rings my bell all the way home ! Challenger it is. While the Challenger looks masculine, the Camaro looks feminine, not in a bad sorta way, but IMO (again) a muscle car needs to look masculine, mean, and warrior-like. Challenger it is. BUT....wait for the Convcertible in 2007, with the SRT-8. Plum Crazy or triple black.
Boy, it's a great life, when 'ya sell them the 1st time around (1970) - have a free one for a "demo" and live 36 years later, and get to do it all over agin!
Damn good. |

If I had enough money (and parking spaces), I'd LOVE to have the Camaro, Charger, GT500, and the Challenger! I wonder what they'll be worth 40 years from now... |

I can't agree the Challenger is the best of the bunch, because it looks too much like the old Challenger. A lot of people like this, but I realized this is impractical, because that was a '70 Challenger, this is 2006. The styling must be different. It has to be updated. The Camaro does the best job of tipping it's hat to the old-school while going with a fresh new design. |

Reminds me so much of my younger days spent drooling over the 'Cudas and Challengers. It will be a harder choice if GM uses a different design for the Camaro (like the ones I posted) but, for now it's the MOPAR all the way. I also hear the MOPAR will have a supercharged version soon as well! | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
