He loved the drive...I guess I really don't let my parents really drive them because my cars are kind of my personal space...I just don't like them digging through it looking around. Otherwise, I've had a few friends drive when I'm slightly intoxicated. |

My Eldorado, she drove ONCE, and it was straight home 5 miles, because the car couldn't go much farther. (Blew a coolant line, was wanting to overheat.) The Fleetwod, I have now, she has NEVER driven. My response to her whenever she asked to drive the Fleetwood, "Give me the keys to your BMW. No? Then no Fleetwood." |

I'm guessing the latter part of his sig applies here.

But....she can't you see because she's in heaven. Smoke That !! |

This isn't necessarily a good thing if you think about it.
Back when my mother had surgery (two times) some time in '02, she had a nice Mazda Protege ('99 model year). Because of those surgeries, she soon after lost her job and then the car. The night they snatched her car (she owned the car for close to three years), I just wrote a note and left the keys to the '87 Seville on the table for her to get to her new job. It was not a big deal at all.
You know what the bitch part of the whole thing was?
The day before they repossessed the Mazda, she had sent the payment that would set things straight! She tried to get the car back, but they wouldn't have it! And she only needed to send about six or seven more payments in for the car to be hers outright...Those were very bad times...
She now has a '94 Ford Explorer that is a pretty decent ride. |

My dad left us, and she had to cope on her own. She sold flowers for a living on a street in Newcastle City Centre, they were the best flowers in town, and she earned a reputation, and business was booming.
She bought her house with the help of my (sadly very ill) grandmother, and the house she lives in is now worth ฃ460,000. Property values are sky high, plus its a huge family home, since she retired, she has been able to claim her own private pension. She bought herself a BMW 330cd this year.
My mother has been driving my cars since i was 17, at times she couldnt afford her own. I have no problem with her driving my cars to this day. She likes the STS alot, and my sister (still at home) has an 03 Range Rover that my mother also likes.
Don't be so hard on her, a car is just a car, and by the sound of it you want it stolen anyway. You only get one mother. Look after her. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
