Back from the dead - again.
I'm looking to get a Canon 40D from Newegg.
I've also been playing around with lightroom when shooting with dSLRs that I've borrowed from my buddies. It's phenomenal.
So, any one else here relatively into photography and shoot dSLR? |

I downloaded the 30 day Lightroom 2 trial and love it, such a nice workflow. I'll buy it as soon as I get a new laptop.
Though if I were you, I'd wait until the end of September when Canon is supposed to announce new cameras at Photokina. They're saying there will be a new 50D, a replacement for the 5D, and possibly a new 1D MKIV. |

I think I might bite the bullet and still get the 40D now though.
Here's the question, how much you think the 5D might drop? |

If I had to guess, I'd say a $300-$400 price drop shortly after the new camera is released. It should be an absolute steal for a slightly used one.

Nikon's D300 is also dropping in price now that the D700 has hit.  |

My 580EX II came in today  
Here it is next to my 430EX for comparison  
I can finally shoot off camera now, might test it out later tonight with my car if it doesn't rain.
Oh and Nikons are just plain silly  |
