However, it still falls under the category of what I call "Overcomplicated Simplification". In other words look... Its STILL easier, no matter what anyone says, to reach over and just click the damn volume up or down a degree than it is to screw with a rotating wheel that controls everything and press on it. Again, this is something you can do from your steering wheel anyway. Forget getting to Bass and Treble controls, you might as well pull over.
I compare things like this to the venerable PDA (which if youve walked into your local Best Buy or Circuit City lately, the section has dwindled down to about 4 units and they are stuffed in a dusty corner). At once they were all the fad starting in about 1993 until they just got fatter and fatter and fatter with new technolgy and doodads. But you know what, as frantic as I am... I STILL found myself reaching for a post it note or a piece of stray paper when I wanted to jot something down quickly. I owned about 6 of those things from the Sharp Zaurus all the way up to the Ipaq and Palm devices and I NEVER got used to using them on a regular basis.

My driving instuctor said he got a talking Mustang I think it was and installed the "sexy voice" which would say "you're turning me on" (use your imagination) when you started the car. That would be amusing. As long as I could turn it off like if I had a hangover or something... |

It's just a matter of time before we see hair bands and men with eye makeup and lipstick again. Well, come to think of it we do still have Michael Jackson.
As far as the Cordoba goes, I rode in one, it was really nice. There's even still one running in my town. It looks like hell, but I see it on the road about once a week. |

The Modular V8 vs The Hemi.... Dodge could probable base it off the Mercedes SL platform, or maybe the C platform.... Shoehorn a Hemi in.... put a benz 6 in as the base model... Could definately be a contender. Might even get Chevy to bring back the Camaro. |

Anyway, every fraternity and sorority entered the contest, we lined up and waited forever to test drive a Daytona through a bunch of cones. They had it strapped into 1st gear with a bungee cord.
I guess I was the only one who knew how a car stuck in 1st gear would handle. People were riding the clutch, using the brakes, and some were even stalling.
I ended up with the 4th best time overall out of about 150 entries. I was kinda proud of that even though I didn't win anything. A girl came in second. I don't remember what the winner got.
At the end of the day, that car was toast. It looked a lot like this one. |
