Don't know of any silverado forums but i do know that the window is an easy fix. The first thing is to rip the door apart and check to see if everything is hooked up right and if everything is good then the motor needs to be replaced. Now its time to go junkyard shooping. Find out what motors will work in your truck. I think the burban's, tahoes and some GMC stuff will work as well. Good luck hope this helps
