pedro's 97 mph fastball has no affect on the orioles either. i think he's over the hill.
i'd say the red sox are toast. they lost the 2 games they should have own and now go back to boston down 2 and facing the part of the rotation that the yankees are stronger than them.
Well Pedro did his job basically except the mistake to Orlerud. At that level 93,94...99 don't make much difference if the guys are wating for it and makes no difference if your team can't generate any offence
The Bo Sox hitting was dismal. Hard to believe they led the majors. I too have faith. Sweep in Boston and they are there......the 'Fat Lady' is staying in NYC !
i didn't watch a lot, but it didn't look like pedro was getting in a rythm. he was worrying a lot about runners on base. he didn't do that in his prime. he's not even close to the pitcher he was a couple years ago. when he couldn't get into a rythm, that's when you make a mistake and that can be the difference in a game.

i'm not going to insult or call you names, heck, i'm rooting for you. but i just don't think it's possible to come back. you really really needed to get at least one in NY to make this a series. now they'll have to play out their butts to have a slim chance.
