Downhill mountain biking

I used to do it about two years ago, and now its do I want to put some money back into my bike and go all out again or what do I want to do. I was one of the nutcase ones who goes 40 down teh trails. Anyone else here done it?

once , summer of '01 in alaska , went down the ski slope (no snow on it ) prolly made 50 mph before i lost testicular fortititude ......think i went into the tree at 20 mph ....couldnt move for a couple days ....broke the camcorder and all hope for getting on "jackass"

my dad shattered a rim the last year we went. tacoed it on a water bar. I lost some testicular matter i think one year, snapped the seat right off the bike and caught some seat post... wasn't pretty, I have plenty of stories though.
