Have I made wise choice?

Hello fellow caddy lovers. Let me take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Joseph and I'm very familiar with caddys but this is my first one to own. Its a 98 Concours with 99375 on the odo. I got it for 9750.00. I'm hoping it will be a pretty good car. Its a second car for me for the highway. I also own a 95 Volvo 940 Turbo with 175,000. I've always loved this body Deville and the Concours has all the bells and whistles on it. I dont know too much about owning one so hopefully this forum will come in very handy along the way. I purchased an extended warranty for 3 yrs 36000 miles so Im praying anything that goes wrong for most part will be under warranty. Any advice tips on the car or things I need to watch out for? If you dont mind Im also intrested in the mileage I can expect to get outta this car!! Ohh well thanks in advance, I do believe I will enjoy my stay.

I'm glad to hear you got the warranty! Good idea. At your mileage, it'll probably come in handy at the perfect times...

The life of your car will depend fully on how well it was maintained, and how well you maintain it... There are some northstars over the 200k mark, although most arent maintained the best they should be...... They are good engines, but it will need some attention........ Personally, I would drive around for about a month, and then take it to the dealer and have them inspect it and have them make you a QUOTE on everything that would it would need to get it perfect..... Then pick and choose (by posting here) which ones are going to be done under warranty.....

If you do everything at one time, the warranty company will think you bought the warranty on a lemon, so make sure you spread out repairs......
