Pretty much every booth had some flavor of 2010 Camero. I'm sure there must have been 500 of them. I even saw one with Lambo doors at the vertical door company. Also saw one with magnacharger and two yes TWO turbos.
I was looking for any Cadillacs but not a one to be seen. Not to say there wasn't a V there but I didn't see it.
Lots of people and a lot of parts for the LSX engine. |

Not to mention it is on a very good platform. In addition to that the LSX is probablly one of the best engine lines ever made.
Twin Turbo LS3? That would be yummy!

Thanks for the valuable info! I've never owned or wanted to own a CamAro
so I didn't pay a lot of attention. |

I just can't get by the front end and the little windows on the sides. On the other hand, there is lots of room in front of the engine for whatever you want to do. ie supercharger etc. Edelbrock has a new supercharger for the Vette that is the same as on the ZR1 and I think it bolts to the CamAro. Many of the superchargers now drive from the front along with the air intake so no jack shafts. Unfortunately for our V's Magnacharger unit still uses the jack shaft.
If you want to see a crowded engine compartment, the twin procharged M5 only has room for water to run down. I can't see how they managed to get it all in there and still close the hood. (Kinda like when you are packing a suitcase for a 2 week vacation-jam everything in and force the zipper closed) |

I owned a '98 V6 model before the ETC. Mine just had the 3800 V6 and automatic but was still entertaining to drive. It just wasn't the most civilized car. Mine had t-tops and a 1-in-2-out Flowmaster on it. The exhaust wasn't loud or obnoxious but Chevy didn't bother with much sound deadening in them. You could forget talking on the phone running down the interstate at 75 mph. |

What colour was your Camaro, and at sound dampening.....lets be honest here....who wants a quiet Camaro |

I posted some pics of it in the "post pics of your car" thread. Just might have to go back a page or two. The new one is surprising quiet inside. My great uncle bought one and I got to ride in it. Need to be able to hear the exhaust more... His is an automatic (I know, I know) but I read a review that said the 6 speed has more of a note to it. |

Nothing wrong with an auto if its a daily driver, in fact I prefer an auto. The only exception to that is the 1st gen V, I don't care if its manual or not, when I buy one - it'll be the DD

Didn't catch that, I just really dislike the first half of the 4th gen. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
