Cadillac Forums: Active Duty, Retired and Veterans receive thanks from Applebee's
On Wednesday, November 11th, Applebee's will again offer a free meal to serving military personnel, retirees and military and naval veterans. Serving personnel and retirees just need their I.D.s veterans can get by with a picture of themselves in uniform.

^ When I was an enlisted man, people used to mistake me for a real Soldier all the time. Now as an officer, there are insignia on my uniform that say "R.O.T.C." so it doesn't happen very often. Still, it made me feel cool to have people roll down their windows to say thank you.

That used to happen to me when I was a CAP cadet. It is a good feeling, isn't it?
