It would just be my winter beater. It would be weird as hell to have 2 identical cars though, one for winter and a nicer one for summer. |

Cloth seats, 305, says odometer quit working around 100k a year or so ago. I would rather have a truck though, I just thought it was kinda cool to find.
I've got a line on a '95 Dakota for $1100. Looks great, 108k miles, A/C is broken and the radio don't work. I am waiting for a call back from the owner. If that doesn't happen I am going to look at that '80 F150 on Monday. Why do I always have to buy another car? |

I just put this on the road after almost rebuilding it. It's my new daily driver and gear hauler when I go sailing. It is getting 30MPG avg and around 40MPG highway. I have a header and 50% underdrive aluminum crank pulley to help. Anyone know what it is? |

I knew it was a GT piece. I wouldn't mind having a GT coupe 5-speed as a daily driver. |

I'm looking at one on eBay right now. $1500, 1988 TPI 5.7L, a few PO installed mods. Needs a fuel pump and some interior restoration, but the exterior is in pristine shape (save for some missing paint), and the engine bay looks pretty good. It's an Arizona car, so rust would be little if any.
I don't know how I would look with a mullet though.............. |

Why do I always have to buy another car? | Why don't you just go the GM route with the truck and get a nice late '80s, early '90s Silverado or Sierra? Or shit, I suppose you could even get a Full Sized Blazer or Suburban... Quote:

I don't know how I would look with a mullet though.............. | That is a beautiful IROC that you found a pic of. The TPI is awesome in those cars. Sounds like a good price if that's what it goes for. I hate the Camaro/mullet stigma worse than the Cadillac/old people stigma. I had a '98 Camaro that I loved. |

The preppy kids have Z28s and SS's. And the hardasses have Trans Ams. In other terms, the kids who have the Camaros listened to a lot of rap and the kids who had Trans Ams listened to a lot of heavy metal. Atleast this is how it was when I was in high school. |

The beat ass ones are owned by redneck trailer trash who are hooked on drugs though. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
