I didn't like the end-of-the-60's mid-body style in either Pontiac or Chevrolet so kept the Malibu until the GTO was like a late Cadillac STS: a phony. Still regret the sale. Now, maybe a 1965 GTO 389 tri-power convertible !!! - Red w/black top. |

I owned this 71 Cutlass Supreme 350 for many years,
and I had the 71 454 for about 3 months.
Great cars, I had my fun, but owning/maintaining a specialty car
can become tiring. The Cutlass shared the garage with my wife's car,
while I shoveled snow off my Cadillac for many years
Next fun car, for me, will likely be an ETC. They can be surprisingly
cheap to own as an occasional ride. |

I've never seen another 1995 with Crimson Pearl paint, polished chrome cookie cutter rims, limo tint, and black leather interior.
It was also the fasted STS I've been in. Much hairier ride than the softer 97, 98, and my 01.
Hindsight is always 20/20. |

The only one I have regretted was trading in my 2004 Jag X-type. Not a great car but would have been a great winter car here in Minnesota add to that they gave me almost nothing on my trade in! |

Hindsight is always 20/20. | I agree on the '95 STS, fortunately I still have mine with only 77,000 miles on it. If you are looking for the feel of more performance, the 1993 STS my wife had would fill the bill. It is interesting to see how the STS's got softer as the series 4 Sevilles progressed throught the ninities. |

I drove a '93 Allante before and was shocked at how the thing could chirp the tires in second gear. Never been able to do that with my Seville before.
I also appreciate the sound of the older Northstar's much more; they sound raspier and less tuned down than the 2000+ models. I need to drive a '93-'95 Seville STS sometime. |

I drove a '93 STS once. I was amazed at how little that felt like a typical Cadillac and how much it felt like a 540i Sport!

Very nice, super clean cars.
Sub, my main Cutlass was a dark green, with the period avacodo green bucket seat interior.
The 442 was white with orange stripes. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
