11.0 second Mark VIII? Look at this

Very cool! I always liked the Marks, moreso the older ones (III, IV, V) , but the VIII's are pretty awesome too. I couldn't ever find one for sale when I was looking at cars back in the summer of '07, but I would have liked one.

I am going to join that forum. I found a couple nice '97-98 VIIIs for very good prices recently. It has peaked my interest, but I want to learn more before I take the plunge.

On that note.... I finally did take the plunge and bought Nick's (Destroyer) beautiful 1998 Mark VIII with 39K miles.

It has a few suspension mods already, but I am going to make it a nice 13 second daily driver. I am getting a custom 2.5 inch catback with Magnaflow Ultra SS mufflers next week... after that onto headers, gears, tune, and .....

I had one just like that only mine had JBL audio & a moonroof. Boy I miss that car!! I assume not but does the rear deck lid neon light still work. Mine went out right after the warranty ended.

Thanks! This one does have JBL and Homelink... and the rear neon does work!

The Mark VIII is such a hot car. Great minds must think alike - I have been infatuated with that car myself as I have seen a few pop up on Craigslist for almost nothing. I need to quit Craigslisting when I know I have enough cars already.
