Heh, haven't heard anyone say the Mets in quite a long time..... pretty much since I left NY

I don't follow any sports, tho I am loosely a Mets fan, because growing up, my step-father was and still is really into them.

Tho I can still go and see the Mets, Braves stadium is about an hour away.

I think it's great that players in the New York area that aren't good enough to be a Yankee have a place to play.Go Mets

I thought the Braves were in Boston. Have they moved?

The Braves played in Boston until 1952 when they moved to Milwaukee. After 13 years they moved again to Atlanta. It seems to me I saw the Milwaukee Braves with Ed Mathews play somebody in Milwaukee in 1961 when I was in Navy boot camp at Great Lakes, Il. What a miserable hole that was. There'd be frost on the ground in the morning and it'd be 80 above by noon.
