We also assume that an adult would be able to work the self-checkout built for people who barely speak english, but that is not the case. I honestly have to go over there and fix people's problems more times than I can remember because they are too stupid to get it right the first time. If it beeps, then it scanned the item, so there is no need to scan it again. Easily over 20 times today I had to void out an item because someone scanned it twice. Some guy actually scanned the same item 4 times in a row today.
