Very refreshing to see a kid wanting this as his first car. A good friend of mine used to purchase cars of the era back in the 80's. Lots of Ford, Dodge's, Desotos, etc. Motors were tough (and heavy as hell). Kid SHOULD update the brakes and suspension, otherwise I think it'd make a great DD.

When I was 14, I desperately wanted my dad's '57 Chrysler Windsor Four Door Sedan for my first car. I thought it would be so awesome to drive up to high school in that, even though it was Coral/White. Sadly, my dad sold that car the summer before ninth grade.
