Anyone ever tried bowfishing?

I was at the lake all weekend and saw THOUSANDS of giant carp hanging out in a back cove with no flow. Made me wish I had my bow with me...and then I remembered that I always wanted to try bowfishing when I was a kid.

Suggestions on parts/reels/arrows/etc?

Go as simple as possible!If your a compound guy you might need to do a real sturdy rest for a heavy fiberglass arrow.Heres a link to a simple reel and a good place to buy stuff.
