Well actually, a traditional AMEX is not a "credit" card -- it is a charge card. It has to be paid in full each month, so they're really not extending you credit.
I would NEVER put a rental car on a debit card and give those vultures access to my bank account. Not to mention they can put a hold on pretty much whatever amount they want.
But hey, different strokes...

I had the same problem, and posted the question on the Site Feedback section. Urby clued me in. You copy and past the code after the = sign in between the YouTube brackets.

true....but Budget only has held the exact amount of the rental. airlines sometimes hold double....they hold the amount, then the money debits, then the hold releases. i just always have enough in checking to cover that

Do you have the same dispute rights w/a debit as w/a credit? If you bring the thing back dinged, I would think it would be harder to get money back that they took out of your acct., than to get a disputed charge off of a CC.
