Have you tried Simcity 4 and its expansion pack yet? It is a huge improvement over SC3K.

Been looking to download Sim City 2000 since you put this damned thread up. Can't seem to find it for free ANYWHERE anymore. A couple of years back I found it and Pirates Gold!, but now I can't find either!

Thats too bad, I've got both of those games here in my house somewhere. Pirates! Gold doesn't work very well in Windows XP though, although DosBox helps.

I'm sure it's at your local BestBuy or other computer/video game type store. Just buy Simcity 4 Deluxe edition, (It's been out for a while (probably 4 years) so its bound to be cheap) and it comes with the expansion pack called "Rush Hour", which adds numerous types of transportation options to the game which do make it better. All in all though, Simcity 4 is a huge improvement over 3000, I'm sure you will love it. I think I might fire it up in a minute here actually.
