OK, after the recent discussions about car model names (or lack thereof), I thought about all the great emblems and model logos that used to exist. There's still a few out there (fortunately), but most cars only have the manufacturer's logo, and on a lot of cars, they're ridiculously huge.
Here are some of my favorites, starting with Chevrolet:
Chevrolet Impala — very sleek and elegant; it's nice that Chevrolet still uses it:

Chevrolet's crossed flags emblems were not always exclusively for the Corvette. From 1958-67, they were also used on other V-8 powered models. Betty has these emblems on the front fenders, which designate a 327 V-8:
