I got LIDARd today on 410W at Bandera, he was on that hill on the side. The V1 went crazy and I braked but he likely had me (I was doing at least 80).

Significance? I didnt think SAPD had LIDAR. I know they just got unmarked Tahoes and Magnums...but this is new.

Anyway, i just exited and used surface streets...had he radioed ahead to his buddy i was long gone. But watch out!!!

I dunno...I'm pretty sure that had Urby seen lights, he would have pulled over.
I've made a quick exit or two when I knew I'd screwed up. No harm done. If I would have seen lights I'd have been on the brakes and parked on the shoulder before the squad car had even turned around. If no lights, then why NOT turn off and reroute?
