I also noticed in the bonus features they make no mention of another company making those 09 Camaros. In fact Michael Bay claims they where provided by GM and there where only two of them. |

I am holding off getting either HD or Bluray until I see who wins. I think it is going to be HD-DVD but one never can tell. And of course I have like 300 regular dvds already...

I hate to rub it in but Blu Ray equals no Transformers in high def | I think those of us with Blu-Ray will manage somehow... (probably by watching the dozens of other movies that are BR exclusive). Transformers is honestly the first new movie I have wanted that wasn't available on BR at release (and I can not think of any that had to cut down the audio quality due to current format limitations like was done to Transformers on HD-DVD ).
Not that there is anything wrong with HD-DVD. Most people will find it to be a very nice format.
Of course, most people are also content driving Chevys, while the rest of us prefer Cadillacs.

The reason cited has been the storage limitations of HD-DVD. You have a hi-def image with CD quality sound.
Not to worry though, Paramount will eventually come to the same realization as everyone else in the film industry and we will have a true hi-def Transformers on Blu-Ray. It's just a matter of time.

There is a story on it somewhere, google it and you will find it. There were only a few prototype camaros hand built by GM (they are all silver btw) and none of them were suitable for use in the movie.
so GM and dreamworks contracted Saleen Inc to convert a Pontiac GTO into a camaro. They simply made custom body panels and wheels to match the prototype. I cannot comment on the interior as I never read anything about it. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
