In the late 60's I hitchhiked to San Francisco to see Jeff Beck play at the Fillmore.
Rod Stewert was lead singer.

Was getting pissed reading, not seeing my albums, then they were there.
I have nothing much to add except "Points to Jonas for Steely Dan." Mu Major, Baby!! How many other rock bands have invented their own chords?

Interesting tidbit: Steely Dan was the name of a dildo in the book Naked Lunch, by William Burroughs.
Never read it.
Also, my post on page one contains multiple "gangster" rap albums...
